Abstract

The article presents the life and professional activity of Petro Nazarovych Savenko (1795–1843) — a doctor of medicine, scientist, urologist, researcher of mineral waters. He made a significant contribution to the development of science and clinical surgical practice, especially to urology. His researches in the field of medicinal properties of mineral waters are valuable.
