Idiopathic non-cirrhotic portal hypertension is poorly diagnosed disease of unclear etiology. The disease is slowly progressive and benign, its outcome is more optimistic than in the treatment of portal hypertension complications. This disease is diagnosed in different countries of the world and in different ethnic groups with various risk factors that explains the existence of various terminologies and the absence of standardized diagnostic criteria. But to diagnose idiopatic non-cirrhotic portal hypertension, other pathology should be excluded clinically and histologically.Downloads
